I've been living and working on the great beaches of the Outer Banks since 1981, doing everything from running a charter boat in Cape Hatteras, to helping build beach homes in the early 80's.
Prior to moving to the beach I lived in Vail,Colorado where I was a supervisor for a property management Company in the winter. In the summer I built custom resort homes until the snow started to fly!

About Hugh!
I’ve been living, working, vacationing, surfing and fishing on the Outer Banks since 1966. I’ve worked as a lifeguard, seafood cook, fisherman and real estate investor and consultant since 1976. After I received my degree from Radford University in Radford Virginia, I settled back in my hometown of Alexandria VA. where I have been a successful business owner and entrepreneur. I am a licensed Realtor in VA, DC and NC. My business background in the shark infested waters of Washington DC, and my OBX real estate investor background helps me represent you and your best interests at one of Americas Best Beaches. About Janet

I moved to the Outer Banks after graduating from James Madison Univesity in the spring of 1984. With a degree in marketing, I worked my way up the sales ladder, beginning in the restaurant business. From there I learned the mortgage business while working for a loan company. At the same time, my husband
began selling real estate which slowly turned into a real estate and building business. After having two great kids and keeping the books for my husband’s business for many years, I finally decided I wanted to do something for myself.
That’s when I met Jeff and began selling local real estate for My OBX Home Realty.

My family and I experience all the NC Coast has to offer. The local schools are perhaps the best in the state offering special needs assistance, state of the art voice over video
technology, and more sports options than one could imagine! I, too, feel education is essential to any career and have recently earned my CSP designation (Certified New Home
